To earn our recommendation a book has to be first useful, second value, and third a pleasure to read. We lean towards books written by actual traders - the experts or professional in the trading trenches wtih us.

Knowing the industry as we do the we are not necessarily impressed with "engineered" books, broker self promotion, pseudo traders or puppet expert/authors. One example of this is professional seeming books that are created and heavily promoted by broker firms - would you find it helpful to take advice from someone who took the other side of your trade?
